This highly configurable 3U OpenVPX Sensor Interface Unit is designed to meet the diverse needs of MOSA and SOSA™ Mil-Aero applications, offering high-density I/O, processing power, communications, and Ethernet switching capabilities.
Built on NAI’s renowned Configurable Open Systems Architecture™ (COSA®) 3U OpenVPX boards and smart function modules, the SIU32S delivers off-the-shelf solutions that expedite the deployment of SWaP-optimized systems across air, land, and sea applications. Its rugged architecture ensures robustness and reliability for critical operations in challenging environments.
Key features of the SIU32S include 28 VDC dual input (Bus A / Bus B) power, 1.0″ pitch slots, 12 & 3.3 VDC output power supply slot, SOSA™-aligned backplane profiles for 3U I/O-Intensive SBC Slot Profile SLT3-PAY-1F1F2U1TU1T1U1T-14.2.16 and External I/O Slot Profile SLT3-PAY-2U2U-14.2.17. The SIU32S supports extensive I/O capabilities that seamlessly integrate with various sensors and peripherals, enabling efficient data gathering, processing, and transmitting crucial data.
