Colmek Announces New Thermite® 8000 Series
Coda Octopus Colmek announces the release of the next generation Thermite® 8000 Series, replacing the previous GPU model. The Thermite® 8000 Series is specifically designed for use in tactical applications that require significant computing performance, such as artificial intelligence at the tactical edge, increased weapon systems lethality, soldier training, and unmanned systems. The 8000 Series is the newest line of the Thermite® family of rugged embedded computing solutions from Colmek and provides advanced processing in a small size, weight, and power (SWaP).
Operating over a MIL-SPEC temperature range, the 8000 Series features Intel® 6th generation Xeon® processor and includes an NVIDIA® Quadro P2000. The unit supports up to 64 GB of RAM, with significant configurability to support a wide variety of applications. Supporting Linux or Windows, it can be expanded for a wide variety of interfaces via Mini PCIe, including MIL-STD1553. The unit also supports a broad range of input power, and is designed to MIL-STD-810G/IP67 environmental specs and MIL-STD-461F for EMI/EMC.
